Atonement tracking with Vuhdo - Discipline priest - Alternate to Icon
A short explanation on Discipline priest and how to set-up the atonement tracking in a different way than the standard icon. I found this tracking most useful during raid but I am used to it for dungeons as well.

Atonement tracking via VuhDo
This method works for Atonement tracking, but can be declined for other classes and hots, like rejuvenation for Restoration Druid, renewing mists for mistweavers or Riptide and Resto Shaman, if that is something you want to do. I do have some pictures at the end for mistweavers.
In the standard set-up when you install Vuhdo, you will get the standard HOT tracking on your party frame. If you download the Vuhdo profile from someone else it might be different, but on this atonement tracking issue, I think most of the poeple keep it is as HOT, and its tracking is not modified.
It is usually tracked below the unit frame of party members or inside it if you choose to do so, using the “Panel” tab in the vuhdo options.
I do not like this configuration so I checked and found an alternative on how to track atonement on my party members with a different visual cue. I found the icon way of tracking this HOT not easy to find, especially in raid environment, while this other method is in my opinion better.
First step, create a bouquet for atonement, you can pick whatever name for the bouquet, just don’t use and modify an existing one.
Once the name is chosen click new, then in the second panel below, enter the name of Buff here, so we use the Atonement, be careful of the capital A for the name, please write the exact name of the buff.
Then in the Item , choose the color of the glow you want the atoned people to have, I go for red personal preference but you can choose whatever color you want. then check the boxes, same as what I have on the screen (not sure what they do, just used the default one).
Spell source, make sure you de-select “Others“ or you are going to have a messy UI, when another discipline priest joins the party.
Once you have set-up this new bouquet then you can get into the Indicator panel and choose the Inner glow to show people with atonement.
Extra: With this method you can now track any HOT as that inner glow on any other specs, instead of checking if a party member has the HOT by looking into the unit frame for that specific Icon. You can use that for Mistweaver monk with the Renewing mist, Rdruid with Rejuvenation, or Rshaman with Riptide…
There is also another you can do instead of having the visual cue being the Inner glow of unit frame, you can also use other way for people with the HOT to show, you can get a timer with this one, yuo can also have both option, a big red dot, outer frame…. If you decide to use something that has already a property make sure this is not something you want to track at the same time.
